Very nicely done Joe. :D

Though I have to say, you must not hate mapping that much, since you got it done in less than a day.

Joe, is that Rubbish?? What does it haul??

Looks Good, might have to make my first purchase at JR with that and a SD70 of some sort,

Looks to me like a paper-products bulkhead/centerbeam? It's a special car that carries paper-products. These are very common sight in certain parts of North America (generally wooded areas). Basically, wood gets chopped up and put into boards, etc...and sent out on these.

Extending what Gisa informed you about the paper-service which must be more of a Canadian process, the centerbeam flatcars get just about EVERYWHERE in the US. Doing so, mostly carrying finished wood products such as dimensional lumber and specialty wood products for the building/construction industry. These cars can also be seen laden with railroad ties.

I suppose being away from home for 8 years comes with a price. :hehe: Come to think of it, yeah they should be everywhere. I just figured that near wooded areas is where you'd see them the most (obviously that's where they'd get the wood from and it'd make sense to have a lumber mill near that area too). I figure, since a lot of stuff is trucked maybe you can't see them as much in a city, but as a bulk mass, I bet they get sent to a yard but then delivered individually or in groups. Silly assumption on my part...

What I was totally surprised to hear thought was that they carry railroad ties. I thought Gondolas would be better suited for that? I wonder if there is anything else they'd carry?
