Hi Trainzers,

I have found that two updates that were uploaded recently (24 June) that are faulty.

Users who have downloaded either of the following two updates will find that the updated versions are faulty.
CN RDC,<kuid:58843:153> - original version
CN RDC,<kuid2:58843:153:1> - faulty update

Exeter St Davids,<kuid:75377:100550> - original version
Station Basic Exeter St Davids,<kuid2:75377:100550:1> - faulty update

Can N3V or the creators of these assets (if they are still around) please sort out the issues that have appeared in the update if they can.

The errors are as follows:

CN RDC:
Error: The kuid '<kuid:-3:11060>' specified in '0' is not of the correct type.

Station Basic Exeter St Davids:
Error: Attachment point 'a.post01' in 'arrow0' must be found in mesh 'Exeter_St_Davids.im'.
Error: The attachment point 'a.post01' must belong to the parent mesh of the effect (mesh=Exeter_St_Davids.im).
Error: Attachment point 'a.post02' in 'arrow1' must be found in mesh 'Exeter_St_Davids.im'.
Error: The attachment point 'a.post02' must belong to the parent mesh of the effect (mesh=Exeter_St_Davids.im).

Shane, check the build number you have as I have same kuid2:75377:100550:1 but build 2.4, install date of Sept 2010 according to my copy of TS2010.

Curiously I just downloaded it in TS12 not as an update but normal download and it is still build number 2.4 and not showing as faulty either.

That seems to indicate a problem with the date reporting on CM. I will need to check that one.

As for the faults, they should not have been the case on an updated asset.

Shane

Shane, I have both updates too and my CM3.3 can't find any faults with either of them. The attachment points reported as missing by your CM are not missing, I can see them both in PEV Mesh Viewer.

Your not going mad (yet) shane, my 2010 cm reports the same errors as yours.
This is odd though, Clam downloaded it into 2012 with no faults, I just did that and got the same faults as 2010.
The RDC fault, I think the kuid should read 11061 to reflect a newer version.
Edit that, the rdc should read 11091, 11060 was right but not in a higher build, maybe above 2.6.

Thank you for your responses - I will sort that one out. I'm still not sure why my CM is misreporting the dates on those two though.

Hi Shane,

I did the updates today and my copy of CN RDC,<kuid2:58843:153:1> - shows as not faulty whereas Station Basic Exeter St Davids,<kuid2:75377:100550:1> - faulty (shows exactly the same errors as you have listed?).

Cheers

Ron

In the config.txt of the station change a.post01 to a.post1 and a.post02 to a.post2.

Thankyou for your responses. I have deleted the updated versions, but will have a look if I decide to reinstall the updates.

P.S. Peter, have you had a read today of the AJS/Bloodnok station thread? I've made an interesting find.
