Images2tga randomly refuses to open files

Many times when I try to open a .texture file in images2tga, I get a tiny error box with no text and I'm left with no idea how to fix it. I still have many faulty assets because I can't convert those texture files.

Try using Save As instead of using Save.

Some .TEXTURE files are in a format that Images2tga can't open.

Payware .textures are locked to stop people messing with them, if they are faulty and showing as locally modified, right click revert to original will normally fix the problem without editing anything.
