I've just been looking at the superb screenshots from Paulzmay, they are quite awesome!

I have my layout mapped out but, how to handle mixed traffic? Cars and trams do share the some roadspace at times but I can't find what (I think) I need.

Are there any roads visible or invisible which allow one way traffic? I can only find two way, I want the trams at times to occupy the centre section, other traffic either side. Invisible overlaid doesn't work unless you're happy with trams and cars driving through each other.

Are there any lights which can control car / tram interfaces? Which is best, bare track & textures or pre-ballasted (cobbled) track?

So many questions, so little time before summer and gardening, house painting etc, puts an end to my endeavours for this year!

) is very useful in separating carraigeways, and creating a space for trams in the middle. Careful use of the angled traffic lights (especially the single track one) allow you to cross in and out of the centre whilst stopping the traffic. If you set this up right you can have trams and cars on the same road with very few "collisions". These are a few examples taken from Westhaven Trams:
