I'm sick of 'Trainz', as want we want and post never happens. So much for TS2011, its just TS2010 with extras. We pay for this and expect good quality, but no one listens to what we want. I have just bought 'Railworks 2' and I think its GREAT, wish you guys will get you act together and make 'Trainz' the best.
As for 'Support', , I waited 2 months for a answer !!, whats up with you people ?; you say that you have sold "Over 1 Million" of TS, well thats like 45 Million dollars and what do you give us; pay for "DLS" !, and you use people to create stuff and don't pay them !!

Well, good luck with whatever program you end up with. Trainz will probably be here for awhile if you change your mind.:)
 
That is the real beauty of it ... Auran creates the basic operating platform program ... and all these wonderful creators make fantastic freeware assets for us.

I love Trainz ... and the day that another sim beats Trainz ... I will eat my hat !

I owe Jadebullet over a lost wager involving me and Fruitcake eating contest (YUM) ... and I have eaten my hat many times over, and it is not all that tasty !

Fruitcakes make for good ammo with a Trebuchet (Catapult)

I LOVE Trainz, but we need more tools to create routes, I'm working on a route based in Scotland (West Cost Ayrshire), I would like to have more tools for detail, IE: Smaller paint brush for detailed stuff, points that look real and paintable bits of board, do this and I will cut my right leg off for it !
 
I would do it if I could, but I'm not the tail that wags the dog. Yes, we have asked for a smaller paintbrush, but Windwalker (Chris) replied that inclusion of such would require too much cpu power compared to benefit (or something like that). I'm sure you noticed the Doppler effect added to 12, do you realize how long that has been begged for?
I'm sorry Trainz isn't improving quickly enough, and it does seem like we have to buy the same program over and over again just to get a nominal improvement, but if that's their business model, then I guess I'm all in.

I really don't see a viable alternative...for me. If you feel another program will fit your needs, then go for it.

Save yourself....it's too late for me...:(

Not sure that I would severly hurt myself and risk my own life like that for those features, but they would be nice ones. ;)

I see youv'e not got "TS2011", I know what you said about "Speed Trees", ( "Triffids") , Yes very true,I have really weird dreams about them since I played e, attacting me, can I Sue !!
 
It's been shipped, I'm still waiting. Many persons consider the Triffids to be an improvement, but not I. Yes, you can sue for anything, but the question is...will you win?;)
 
Well hang in there, mate. I know it's frustrating, and there's no crime in using other simulators. Someday Trainz will run out of improvements to code and we'll all be sad, knowing that it will never get any better.:hehe:

Have U tried "RailWorks" !!??
 
I can't afford it. I understand most of the content is from the UK, and additional content costs additional money, and It's a bit overwhelming to me at this time. I've recently been financially torpedoed, and it's taking all I have to make it back to drydock...:confused:

I live in WA, next to a main track, I'm going to "Hijack" a train and live my experience, just allways wanted to drive one of those beasts !!

I wouldn't hijack a train, they might class you as a terrorist, and then you will be famous...:D
