Hi.
I downloaded and installed build40040 today (the earlier was 38017). But when i load my rouat that i am building, the ground is missing some of the texture. I can fix that with the replase assets, but the perfect tree-series that worked exelent in 38017, look lika a mess with the new opacity.
So i wonder if there is a way to remove 40040, or do i have to reinstall trainz and 38017?

It sound to me like you were running build 38017 in compatibility mode and are now running 40040 in Native mode, have you tried running 40040 in Compatibilty mode to see what the trees look like?

Hi. I have newer run 2009 in compatibility mode, but i tried to switch it on. The trees look better, but the texture is still missing.

Now I'm puzzled as to why the trees look worse in 40040 but I have no answer to that.

I think the Perfect Trees you are using are those created by DMDrake. PaulZMay has been working on a way to change these (and others?) so that they look OK in 2009 Native mode. See this thread:

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=44629

I've discovered that some of the newer trees currently available on the DLS look OK in 2009 native mode, so far I have only found a few (e.g. in the Jankvis "09" series) so replacement trees are / will be available, given time.

Unless you did a backup of your 38017 installation I don't know of any way of reverting the 40040 patch. Hopefully someone else will post on this subject to either confirm this or come up with a solution for you.

Good luck!

Now i have reintstalled trains and build 38017 and all run ok in native mode.
It looks like it was the new ts09 textures that dident show up in 40040

If a know how to upload one, i would send a screenshot from 38017 in native mode with nice perfect-trees.

Thanks for Your help, i am following the tread you show me, and wait for new trees before i download a new patch.

I have found the JVC-series, and use some of them to. But they was also messed up in 40040. When i selected a tree the preview in objectsmenu show alphachannel as black, eg. six(?) flat sqares.
