How to obtain access to the Content Creation Support sub-forum?

Asking for a friend whose thread has been moved to Content Creation Support. He now cannot see his own thread because he doesn't have access to that sub-forum.

What are the criteria for a user to read/post in the Content Creation Support sub-forum?

I believe he just has to be a legitimate owner of the product, and use the same login to the Forums that he uses for logging into the simulator.

i use the same account for everything.
mytrainz, trainz portal, and the forums, i created the account when i registered to get trainz 2009 from a giveaway http://ts2009.trainzportal.com/free/ (that's how i have a copy of it)

Ever since this new forum software came online there have been issues with account permissions especially newly created accounts. I would think that dropping a note to the mods using the Report link should get it cleared up.

Everyone, and with that I mean everyone with an account, should have access to it. I doubt you even need to have a registered version of the game.

If that person doesn't have access, something went wrong during account creation and he/she should send a ticket to the helpdesk to get that fixed (as it is outside of my powers as a moderator).

The best thing to do if you aren't getting the correct access to the forums is to send a ticket to the helpdesk. However for orangeengine69, I have refreshed your forum account permissions for you; you should now have full access to the forums.

Originally I posted it on "general trainz" because I didn't know anywhere else to post it.
I went to sleep, woke up the next day, saw a reply email, I click on my thread like, and I couldn't access it :/, turns out my thread has been moved to "content creator support". But since it was a private sub-forum I couldn't access it because I didn't have the permission. (But that's fix now, thank you Mr. ZecMurphy )

Hi all, not sure where to post this but I seem to be having a similar issue (can't access the Screenshots section). I've got TANE registered on this account. I mentioned this in a support ticket I sent about an unrelated issue but they did not address it in their reply. Not sure what to do now.

Clarifying that I can see the contents but not reply to threads (Insufficient privileges).
