how does one apply railcar brakes? Trainz classics

When parking a decoupled rail car how does one apply brake? I checked the manual and it gave four key strokes, (two hit together) which I know can't be right. Any help is appreciated. I am new at this website and much of my Trainz programs go unused for lack of info. Thanks

If it's being taken and uncoupled as part of a consist under AI control the brake is applied by the AI. If you are driving in dcc mode, take it to the spot, stop your train and use the A key. Uncouple the car/wagon, back to the loco, A key again and drive off.
