How do I find

stationmistress

By comparison JAFA
the crossing signals and barrier below? I've tried various searches, now I need help. As can be seen, a normal crossing with lights and barriers both sides will not do. The barrier has to reach across 4 lanes. Thanks in advance.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm fairly certain the barrier is only guarding 2 lanes in each direction. As there's a median, it's unlikely the other 2 lanes need covered and a barrier that long would need to be fairly sturdy to be able to support itself.

I think Xing or ATLS are the terms you should use for you search. I know there are plenty of US crossings made to use ATLS though I don't know the specific names.

Thanks for the info pfx. Perhaps I should have posted a bigger shot. I'll have another go at the ATLS etc., but the bugbear is the overhead lights.

Found them! Silly me, I'd already downloaded a cantilever gantry. Lights and barriers are in now. Thanks again. I guess this thread can be closed already.

BNSF50 has made a TON of crossings, for 2-lane, 4-lane, 6-lane roads with cantilvers, side lights and all sorts of other options.

Thanks again for the info. After pfx replied, I found them. It was just a case of the right keywords.

The keywords that might be helpful are:

grade xing US.

The series then runs with 1T, 2T, 3T, etc. with variants such as 315 and 45 for degree angle and wsl for with side lights.

Good luck with your project.

John

:) Many thanks all who have replied to my plea. I really do have all I need now. Everything's copasetic. Please, no more replies.

@John. That pic is Williams, AZ for the Grand Canyon route for my Grand canyon Railway stock to run on. The terrain already done by fishlipsatwork will take an age to fill.
