Hello all. I wanted to make a thread for distributing and sharing ideas about the creation of Enginespecs. Otherwise known as "Engines" according to what asset they are.
Now that the general idea is obvious. I must ask some questions that will start off.
- What air brake systems are used on trains of any periods? Where might one find the necessary information on such systems to use the data for creation?
- What are good resources or places to look for information on locomotives?
- What assumptions, math calculations, or physics are needed or required to figure out data to put into the asset?
If anyone can help me with my first Enginespec, I will help others, and don't feel afraid to post your problems here as long as it isn't too demanding, interrupting, off topic, or a request of any type.
