Help finding a Route to Run Norfolk Southern Content

I already have MSGSAPPER's 'The Loops' route, but I'd like to know if there are any other routes available where Norfolk Southern trains wouldn't look out of place. I've gotten enough Norfolk Southern locomotives to represent about 80-85% of Norfolk Southern's entire roster.

The nec built into ts12

I think most US and Canadian content, so NS included, would fit well on the UMR.

Driving from one end to the other should keep you busy for a few hours I think.

I considered UMR, but it's so massive I am not interested in it, as I have a tendency to make changes to the tracks, including the mainline. With it being so massive, making those changes will take an eternity. Maybe something smaller. As for the NEC route, I also would like some switching, among other things.

Yeah switching on the NEC sucks. There's no nice big yards.

Yes. Why are you set in your deciding to only run NS on routes that NS run? I live in Southern NJ along the Delaware River and I've seen BNSF, Reading Bee Line and Union Pacific locos hauling coal trains and freight. If you're the only one who will see this what's the problem? It's your RR and you can run what you want. Don't get hung up on minor issues, just enjoy the game.

I'm asking for help because I'm trying to find a route where Norfolk Southern trains just 'fit in'. If I could pick a location, the route would be a place in the Appalachians, though that means that there's not much of a variety of industries, as its mainly coal mines. However, I'd like to specifically find a route where there is a balance of switching and mainline running.

Have you considered jrfolco's routes?

<kuid:73500:100015> Cumberland to Harpers Ferry Tane
<kuid:73500:100025> Cumberland to Connellsville Tane
<kuid:73500:100032> WM & B&O Mega Route Tane

The Mega route has some intense industrial parks as well as miles and miles of track.

While they might not be NS they kinda have the right flavor IMO.

Oooo ... You'll like them ... and place an invisible locos on invisatrack, and watch your trainz go by in ralfan mode from a sidwalk pedestrians FOV on his city streets

He is trying to find a route that commonly sees NS manifest trains and stuff. What you are thinking is NS heritage locomotives. The high quality items for the mega pack at JR are 70 bucks. Very expensive.

Not when Simulator Central had a 75% discount on them a few years ago. I got all twenty of them then. It was a steal.
