Gravel Pit North of Grandville

Thanks everyone! :)
It's a whole bunch of models all crammed together. The pictures below show the arrangement and the various assets used:
*snip*
I reskinned the TPR Greenbriar Tipple a bit, but I think the rest of the models are pretty much as they are on the DLS. On each of the tracks under the loader, I also placed a ProtoLARS industry track -- "PL Gravel" (kuid2:30671:27373:1).

Hope that helps!

I looked for those kuids in the pics on the DLS and at TPR and found nothing:confused:

It is amazing how quickly they can empty an entire 100+ car unit train with mixed commodities.

When they finish emptying one size rock, they roll the conveyor over to the area for the next size pile. The crew dumping the rock have the remote beltpack to control the locomotives that could be far from their sight.

Below is a picture of the remote slug unit controlling the movement of the entire train.

That is weird I searched for the kuids on the DLS and couldn't find them,I got no results with all the trainz versions checked.Odd,but thanks for the help.
BTW maddy did you get my pm?

that is truely outstanding work. I too have tried my hand at creating some quarries, but they are more difficult than one at first would assume. You've done an outstanding job at it and are a genius at the creations you provide for all of us. Thank you very much for the effort. It is very much appreciated.

Also, thanks very much for the screenies with the kuids. That is most helpful is seeing how you put your scene together.

Mike

PS: I appreciate the plugs for my animated conveyors. They were time consuming creations and I'm glad to know that they're being put to some use out there. Thanks.

Well worth the effort, the answer to many wishes...

8) Thanks for the thread Maddy25!

Your contributions, plus the input from the Forum Community, will be helpful to many people, with different industries using the same technology presented here.

By the way, the product shown dumping from the FEC car, is "limerock," used in all the concrete made in Florida, as well as DOT grade road sub-base. You might call it "Florida's Favorite Rock," because it's also the only rock mined in Florida!

Mined out of the Miami area, FEC transports limerock to all points on it's route, to Jacksonville, in many building required grades.
