Over the past few months, I have been gathering new components for a fresh new gaming system. Specs include an NVIDIA RTX 5070TI, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 32GBs of DDR5 6400MTS RAM. Finally put the system together just last night and today I finished Trainz Railroad Simulator 2022 SP6 HF1 and transferring all my content from my previous PC. Initial testing revealed a great deal of improvement with performance with routes being able to somehow run well over 100FPS.
However, on some routes, such as The Riverton Subdivision made by WiT Simulations. Performance would run excellent for around 5 minutes. And then drop down to 30-40FPS.
On top of that, it seems as if Cab Mode does not want to run smoothly no matter what. Frames will drop to 30FPS as soon as I enter cab view.
Is this normal for a new system that's still getting used to gaming or is there something seriously wrong?
