I'm sorry for any insinuation in my post. To put things into context, a word or two of explanation is in order. One of the persons who asked about the K4 has PM'ed me on a couple of occasions in the past, asking me to send them content that was "not available", but had been payware. I explained at the time that I couldn't do that. Please accept my apology for jumping to conclusions.

Cheers,
Fred

Apology accepted.

I've been private messaged since 2005 being asked for it, but I never shared. Now that I have his personal permission to share, it seems word got around real fast.

I'm sure if completed it would have ended being a payware. I think Marl's K4 ended up being scrapped after beta and used for his Southern Cresent PS4 and NYC loco. When I asked about sharing the K4, it seemed like he didn't even remember what model I was talking about, I think he forgot about it. His exact words were to "share with anyone that asks for it."

The sun peeks through and lights up Merchant Navy Class New Zealand Line passing Schools Class Merchant Taylors on an otherwise damp and gloomy day.

@stevelerro & nathanmallard: Where did you guys find that PRR K4? I've always loved the K4s, my favorite American express engine, and would kill to have that lovely beast in my collection!

The K4 is Marlboro's and never released.:'(
However he gave Steve a copy to beta test and if you PM him with your email adress he will email you it.:)

Fun with filters! At least two kinds on each pic!
I did these for a photo class assignment last year.
The one of steveflanders' Betty happened completely by mistake (taken noobishly in surveyor) the day she was released, so please ignore the arrows.

Not quite steam, but the replacements for my 2 favorite steam engines. Bennett Levin's Pennsy E8's replace what could have been the PRR K4 1361, and NS's Employee Special replaces the N&W J1 611.
