Hi,

You should all be glad to know I have received an email from fender849 who lives in Christchurch. He reports that he and his family have all come through the earthquakes ok. He has no power, no running water and no sewerage. His house is damaged but still liveable. So I guess that's fairly good news. Hope to see him back on line soon.

None of which (the highlighted text) matters. He and his family have their lives. thats what counts. Buildings can be rebuilt. Lives can't. I don't know the fellow or his family, but thank goodness he is ok.
