I had an op on the old ticker last year after a few heart attacks, not the full blown op like yours but nerve wrecking all the same.

Hi Louise,

Best of wishes for the time up to, during and the time after what you have to going through. My you have great days forever so to speak, even the worst day can hopefully have 1 second of good in it, and hopefully you will have the opportunity to focus on all the good in your life when times are hard.

Reading you post I got a little scared, reading more of the post I realize that it is treatable and with better outcome that a fear of the unknown told me - and while typing this I was thinking that I should send you whatever I can of good words and wishes - so in finishing of this post, I join in the other's wish in wishing you all the best!!

We all deserve the best life can give us, let us all hope we all get the chance to feel it.

Guys sorry but I typed the post wrong first have edited it but it should read:

For those who know me really well you will already know the reason why but for those who actually care I will tell you all. I am going into hospital to have a hole in my heart sewn up. Not too sure when but it should be by the end of *September. This will be the full monty open heart jobby with me being on a heart lung machine but I will be back I promise.

Not *april as it first said.

ps If you do want a visit or two please try to get "done" at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield as we live round the corner!:wave:

I'll be thinking of you - we'll be on holiday in Scotland at that time.

I understand that it's scary form one side of the operation, but the results are dramatic (from a friend who's had a triple bypass).

Just take it steady and follow instuctions

Although to be serious I did feel a little uncomfortable with my offer, it's a sad comment on life today. Hopefully Louise will have plenty of visitors, and I am sure that I will spot her out and about some time as we seem to live fairly close to each other.
