GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Take a look again, it's not a 4-8-0. :hehe: I am Skype contacts with the author, I can guarantee that he is very much around and working, he may not have responded to e-mails simply because he's been rather busy. Alternatively he may not have even received it; I'm not at all sure how the site e-mail is set up, so it may not be going to an e-mail he regularly checks. Websites are weird like that.

Daniel;

Thank you for the update; as perhaps he has not seen my response due to the gmail account with the website. If you could PM myself his details; I can perhaps contact him directly for my commission request with permission. As the QHR Trainz Team is rather anxious to press forward with the commission and funds towards it.

Great work with the 4-8-0 and looks great.

Regards.

Again, not a 4-8-0, you've gotta count axles :p I don't have anything amounting to his personal e-mail; rather, I would wait for him to clear out some space. It's worth noting that I ran into a similar issue with the McKeen website; because Mr. Kirkman was busy working with an Alaskan trucking company, he could not respond and I actually waited some months before he could get me back. In this case, the site owner has a commission that is nearly running behind, so the last thing he can afford is correspondence on a new project.

Some rods for the Litra H2 on the workbench.

A gallon of good 3D karma to the one who correctly identifies the items. :D

I think these poarts belong to the changing sens system of the lok , operating an inversion of the push on valves....

Cheers, Marc

I added even more rods.

So, to answer your posts: It is parts of the Litra H2's Heusinger valve gear - DSB was predominantly Germanic in its choice of builders, hence Heusinger rather than Walscheart.
What you see is:
  • the reverse lifting rod (styringsaksel in Danish) and as stated above, the H2 is indeed a three cylinder engine. The slightly off-line inner arm is due to the angle of the middle cylinder.
  • a disassembled reverser connecting rod. It's almost six meters assembled, so it wouldn't fit on the table.
  • the banana shaped object is the expansion link (kvadrant in danish)
  • the small rod in front of the expansion link is the union link
  • and in the back is one of the outside slide bars (lineal in Danish)
Ever Trainz is absolutely right. Not only do I have drawings available, I also have the real thing.:D

Yup I sure do. Most of my models eventually will get released. I have a few that are pretty close to completion right now, Just need to fix some animations and scripting!

Have you thought about doing a Septa one? They haven't been actually built yet in real life, but they will look very nice when they are.

I like this scheme much better than the Amtrak scheme.

How about he finish and release anything before you all start begging for different paint schemes.

PS Phase III looks the best on those; I've seen it and oooh.

PPS. Here is a reskin of an ES-64 (the european version of the ACS) in Amtrak Phase III based off from a photoshop I saw once, and now can't re-locate. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i6/PerRock/PerRock_20140927_0000.jpg~original
