GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Yes, there is a book, and a good deal of tutorials that are better thought-out than I could make them.

New detail map and fixed an issue with the cylinders being too close to the wheels. Now the rods are free of clipping.

Eh, Sketchup doesn't necessarily have too many polygons, you just have to be careful. :p As to how accurate the model is, I have no idea whatsoever.

Looks like a Transition Era control stand. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it is an EMD control stand; maybe for an NW5, perhaps? Bear in mind, this is just a wild guess.

Nice cab stand. What's it for?

It's for a V/Line P Class, Started working on a higher poly TS12 version which will include the interior, it might end up being for T:ANE when I get a 64bit OS and new computer as this is 5 years old for the motherboard and CPU, most parts like Cooling fans, GPU, PSU. DDR3 Ram and HDD's are a few years old as I keep upgrading parts.

Another angle

Cheers.

Nice!
Started work on the next version of the standard 4MT, going to be working on the 4-6-0 version later today. For now, though, I've built the BR1B tender, as shown here behind the mogul version:

Looking quite Southern...I always thought that the BR1B tenders looked better behind larger engines, however.
