G'day 2Wayne,
..I will 'compliment' you on your "enthusiasm", here, Wayne (to provide 'signs' for your advertising hoarding, which is, again, a superb model, following on from your work on the grain silos) but I fear that you might well open a "can of worms" by doing so. In a similar asset, I solved this problem with a 'sign' intended for use on the front of a set of generic buildings, by supplying the sign asset (supplied separately from the structures; see my "Australian Industrial Estate" set of structures and the associated "Australian Industrial Estate - Sign" <KUID2:75943:2025:1> for inspiration) with a *.tga file that all users could change to 'name' the industry as they saw fit. If the user intends to use this sign on their route without uploading the route for others to use, then this is the only action to take. If the route is to be made available to the general community, then a clause in the licence permits the user to clone the asset with the altered *.tga file and using their Auran ID, publish the asset so that the 'new' sign can be available for those who wish to download the route. You might consider something along the same lines, here - that way, you get the best flexibility and the 'sign' can depict any advertising campaign the user wishes to apply to it (and you save yourself a 'heap' of work)...

a locomotive with a steering wheel, who knew ;POld school driver's station. Nothing digital here. I was so priviledged as to get access to the real thing on a fine September morning in Copenhagen and with a bundle of good clear photographs things got a lot easier.
The driver's seat and the train brake handle is still WIP as are all the pipes and rivets, but it is in a state where I can start setting up the different needles and dials for in-game use.
It is a typical European shunter cab with mirrored instruments and handles - though just the general layout as there are substatial differences between the forward and aft end when it comes to pipes, plugs and sockets and cabinets.

This is how the end product should look like. Opposite the fire extinguisher you find the parking brake and on the bulkhead to the right there is a cabinet with all the gauges for monitoring the main Maybach 12 cylinder diesel (the blue one in the render). The cabinet barely visible to the right contains the main swichboard and fuse boxes for the generator. This particular unit was built in 1959 so it is okay to look a little worn.
I presume its the throttle controler. Many european trains use such design.a locomotive with a steering wheel, who knew ;P
could probably throw a couple light tags to that in pev's tools and make a "digital" billboardThanks for the tip! I will have to check into doing that, not sure how I want to play things out right now until I can get a few made. We will see!
Here is another render or 2.
