@raleonidas If you want to upload screenshots, you can always use the Trainz Gallery. Just make sure the images are in the JPEG format and are not too large.

I also made the GEB13 traction motor. This particular model of traction motor is used in the ES44AC, ET44AC, ES44C4, and ET44C4.

WIP render in Substance Painter. It will be interesting to see how close the in game Trainz asset looks with PBR materials. This is my first attempt at getting an asset into Trainz. Still have the day / night windows to texture.

Nice work on this I'm trying to get my head around Blender to Substance myself so yeah I'm keen to see how this one of yours turns out please keep us posted on ya progress.
Mick.

That is looking wonderful, Chance. I am latching onto the washout plugs as something particularly well-done, that's a lot of extra hassle to make them look correct.

Thank you, and I'll post a screen capture once I have it in the sim. So far the Blender / Substance workflow hasn't been too bad, but it has been a learning experience.

Fantastic work so far on that steamer.
I hate to interupt the post but I have a quick question along the lines of the current convo. I am just starting to put my toes into Blender. I purchased Substance awhile back on steam, so I have it. Should I as I learn blender work to using that workflow of making the model in blender and texturing in Substance or stay with Blender while I am learning everything? I would like to avoid learning bad habits with Blender that I have to try and break when I go to Substance.

Well, tbryson2 has been off the forums for a while, but he's recently been working on revamped models of his engines! Here are some shots on his models so far. He had posted them on a Facebook modeling group, and he has given me permission to share his images with you guys. He said he ultimately plans to release them for Trainz 2019+, no word yet as to when or if that will happen, but here's what he's got so far...
