Hey that's a pretty nose

Sweet Jesus....

There's a significant difference between the Metra and Caltrain locomotives: Ryanstrains is a model of the MP36PH-3S, while the Caltrain is a MP36PH-3C. Both are made by Motivepower Industries (MP), 3600 horsepower (36), Passenger (P), Head end power (H), dash 3 electronics (3), but the Metra has a static inverter (S), while the Caltrain has a separate Caterpillar engine to provide the Head end Power (C). The static inverter used to produce the HEP is connected directly to the prime mover, which is an EMD 16-567F3B (which can also be found in the MP36PH-3C), and causes a reduction in horsepower available for power. The Metra's MP36PH-3S are also unique in that they also have a gyralite in place of the number boards.

While I agree that MP-36 is beautiful lets not forget that little submission in there by zeldaboy too, looks good, colors look a little off for my taste but looks good overall

Some more work on the Geelong & Melbourne Railway Passenger engine, Typhoon and Sirocco, Cyclone and Hurricane had flange driving wheels.

And lots of work done on the Goods engine, Goliath, Hercules and Tubal Cain.

Cheers.

"Snip" 3600 horsepower (36),"Snip" an EMD 16-567F3B "Snip"

Last I checked EMD couldn't upgrade the power of the 567 because the cubic capacity of the cylinder was too small. The highest they went with the 567 was 2500hp.

Also the MP36PH's are powered by a 16-645F3B while the MP40PH-3C is powered by a 16-710G3B.
