It's a hopper car retrofitted with steel bars on the top to clear ice off tunnels, specifically used by the PRR on the West Slope with the Gallitzin tunnels.

Am i right?

Ice!?! I wouldn't be surprised if hobos' were using those as trusses for the roof of a house! Why on a hopper, I don't know.

Thanks for the comments and yes, I will tailor this machine for certain industries. Here is a texture layout I did in photoshop which was overlayed on top of the rendering.
