Getting a M.I.N to Load "Aus Parcels and Mail"

The Original
G'day folks,

Is there an industry pre-configured to produce and consume "Aus Parcels & Mail" similar to some of the other built in industry tracks? I've tried setting this up via a M.I.N, but my AI drivers can't seem to "find it" as they drive right past it.

Do your drivers do the same thing without the presence of "Aus Parcels & Mail"? Because if they do then it is more of a signalling problem than consumable goods problem. Have you tried something like "Drive to (M.I.N.)", "Load" etc?

Cheers
Russell.

I was telling the drivers to "drive to" and "load", and he sails right on through. I might set up the other one (Aus Wool Bale) on the adjacent track and see if I have the same problem.

You mentioned signalling problem, perhaps it's because it's an uninterlocked yard? Ie, the only signals are the buffer stops and the shunt signals protecting the approach track into the yard area.

Thanks for the reply Russell, I'll keep plugging away tonight!

It may be worth your while adding an invisible signal to the siding beyond where the wagons load. If this does'nt work then try adding a trackmark before the loading zone and then "Drive to (trackmark)" "Drive to (loading zone)" "Load". The train should then move to the trackmark, pause briefly and then move to the loading area and load.

Cheers
Russell.

Russell, I'd never thought of using invisible signals - that's an excellent idea! I'll have a crack now, and get back to you.

EDIT: Yeah, that's fixed it. Thanks for your help!
