Fun Contest in TR12 - UP40DDX and Big Boy

Hi guys,
I was always pushing things to the limit in my scalelectrix and model train sets..larger motors , overloads, oil on the tracks etc etc...so inevitably I loaded up a Big Boy and a UP40DDX respectively for a power contest in the logging session in surveyor ( nice long straights and level track ), I did not crook too much, only upped the coupler breakage a little in the physics section...:D.. and used up some spare hours of fun and eventually got to 111000 tons +:D ....and both loco's still pull the load !..just...just..can't find a winner yet...Now I must find and upload a electric unit that can join the contest..nothing in TR12 though..

If your messing around in the physics of Trainz, then your locomotive could theoretically pull any load.

Although in saying this, I challenge you to create a UP Big Boy PUSHING a 111000 tons of cargo up a 2% gradient in CAB mode. No Physics changes. (Because you are pushing the cargo, there cant be any coupler breakage as Trainz doesnt have a method of crushing rollingstock between two opposable forces)

Hi Conductorphil,
Challenge lost....I know I cannot do it in cab mode :) , I have tried , even in TR06 in the big steam grade session with 1800 tons one has to have hair on your teeth and go easy with the regulator and the cut-off to get up the 1.13 gradient without changing the physics . I am amazed at the realism of Trainz in general when operating without changing any original settings.
I have had a lot of fun trying different combinations and changing to all types of locomotives in TR10 too in the Avery session.
