It's nice to see it works after I re-made all files, fix for the 2004 users, and reduced the file size to a more "normal" level
. It's still som bugs, but I think I'm aware of them and have uploaded new files to DLS (one of them is the summer wheat spline, the mesh not showing up ingame, but this one and a few others are replaced with new files...(they haven't reached the DLS for download but are in the waiting room)).
Right now, I'm working on grass stuff, and here is the 2 latest ones..:
Grass35, this one looks wierd when used alone, so it's made for use in combination with some other mess....(it's the Grass34 together with it)
Grass36...

Grass collection2 uploaded...
This is a mix of the latest grass, some of it not shown before....
Some are splines, but most of them are not....
All uploaded to DLS, Grass10-29 Grass collection1 and Grass30-42 uploaded as Grass collection2..(they will be available in few days)

I've started with the Grass collection3. I'm gonna make some splines with flowers, and Grass 43s - Grass49s will contain different flowers in combination with the grass splines 43 - 49.
the first one is ready for launch............
This is Grass43s with some daisy's in it.
Grass44s - Papaver Rhoeas. This flower shines up pastures and cornfields many places, so I've implemented it in the grass spline....
Next one out is Cornflower (Centaure Cyanus) with Grass45s...

Jan I have to agree with Wiley on this one (I do on many of his other thoughts as wellLooking good Jan, mixing the flowers in with the grass-splines is a nice touch. I might have to hire a landscaper.

I know you have "updated" (and uploaded) some of your content to be more suitable for downloads. When I was able to get to the download station last night (seems down now) I tried downloading some of your content of the most recent days, but was told I already had them
. Somewhere in the upload process to replace some content the download station has allowed it but it (the DLS) is seeing them as already downloaded by people (or just me). A strange situation, just thought you may like to know.Craig

This one is complex, and i don't know the reason for it. But I do know that there is some files waiting to be replaced by a newer version. Still most of the files are replaced and if u see the thumb instead of the grey window, it means they are the latest (the thumb working files are the corrected ones).
I don't use the content creator to make the config files, as it mess things up and convert any files to 2006 only compitable versions. I hope the files work with 2004, pls notify if not.
Later today I'm going to give u a quick link, so u can download the latest stuff if u want to do so (the server is currently down). 'll be back with the link.

IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!
Due to many difficult plant and flower names, and to make the navigation more user-friendly, ALL my previous files are now upgraded with a TAG before the username. The tag is "JVC-"(Jan's vegetation collection) before the old filename. All files are renamed and updated to a higher KUID number,so new assets will automatic be downloaded with the correct filename.
example:
Old file
wheat summer spline
New file
JVC-wheat summer spline
JVC-....etc.
The only word to keep in mind is "JVC" then the whole list of all my assets will show up in order...I hope this will make the use of them more efficient.
To serve all international users, as u might have noticed, I use latin ID to many of the plants and flowers, so they can recognize the plant. The downside of this is many difficult names.
All new files downloaded to DLS and also as a pack (Jan's vegetation collection).

On another note, I was going to ask you before about the site you use to host your files. Have you found any problems with it? I see that you use ImageShack for your images as I do and I have never had any problems they, no spam from there site etc. Your thoughts would be welcomed (as are your creations).

Next up are some herbs, flowers and plants (weed). I will send them out when finished later today. The Nettle (urtica dioca) is one of them, so don't get to close to it .
