I bought an FCT and the process went smoothly (taking my money). Then I went to the DLS and 40 bits per second speed was still there. Ok that is a known issue with these people. I also saw that the old expiration was still up on the opening page. In about an hour that notice changed to an active FCT. However, the 40 bits per second download speed remained.
Today (the next day) I tried a DLS download but no improvement in speed. This prompted a ticket to the vendor.
Maybe someone can explain why the time delays exist in purchasing an FCT? I can see that an update to my privileges might take a few minutes since it is a background task. But then to take almost a full day to really allow me to use my purchase is beyond my comprehension. All it takes is setting some bits in my DLS profile to allow full download speed. 15 years ago that may be justified. but not today.
For some obscene reason N3V turns a blind eye to an important cash flow area. They rake in good money on the backs of talented and generous contributors of the goodies on the DLS. Why won't they address this problem?:n:
