Favorite US Railroad?

Trainz

I like all of them. The more trainz I see the better, than seeing trucks on the roads costing the tax payers for road maintenance.

BM&DC RR

The Black Mountain & Dry Creek Railroad.

This railroad connected the Boulder Dam spur built by the Union Pacific Railroad for the construction of Boulder Dam (now Hoover Dam) to the AT&SF via Eldorado Canyon. It served the mine and the boat service along the Lower Colorado River in Southern Nevada.

Denver & Rio Grande Western

for second place comes the UP and BNSF conglomerates.

Rio Grande is my all time favorite, having grown up in Colorado and walked most of the mainlines with my father. My father now suffers from Alzheimers. I guess that is why, when I got TS12, I chose to model Denver and the surrounding metro area. Dad still remembers the railroad as it was growing up, and we talk about it when ever I call my parents. It give him great joy, and makes me smile all the way down to the heart.
