start with the Railroad I started working for and my favorite Western Pacific the feather river route, which then merged with the Union Pacific and Missouri Pacific which then ate up a bunch of others including the Southern Pacific.

Class 1: BNSF, NS (Why are all the modern BNSF engines on the DLS faulty??????)
Shortline: Minnesota Commercial (MNNR), Wisconsin & Southern, Indiana RR
Fallen Flags: N&W, Southern, ATSF (Warbonnet), DM&IR, WC
Urban Subway/Streetcar/LRT: Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Transit
Commuter: Minnesota Northstar
Passenger: Amtrak
Fav. Passenger Train Of All Time: UP Streamliners. I love yellow!

Denver and Rio Grande Western- Rich heritage and known as one of the toughest railroads being they stepped up to the challenge of building right through the Rocky Mountains and converting from Narrow Gauge to Standard Gauge. I never got to see the railroad but i wish it was still here.

D&RGW- Forever A Living Legend

The subway is not a railroad, but mass transit. In basic terms, since it uses US standard rail gauge and abides most railroad laws, yes, but in reality, no.

I have an always been a fan of Southern Pacific.

Pennsylvania Railroad All the way!
It was the root of all eastern railroads and every railroad in Tri state area shares piece of PRR
NJT - North Jersey Coast Line
SEPTA - All the line, Silverliner I-II
Amtrak - NEC, Harrisburg Line,
NS - Horseshoe curve

Being a fan of the anthracite region of PA, I'll have to go with all the anthracite railroads...Lehigh Valley, Erie, Delaware Lackawanna & Western, Central New Jersey and Reading.

Something went wrong with my picture and for some reason I could edit my post. Just another Trainz fail I guess. Anyways, here is the picture that I wanted to post making my CSX spirit stand out!
