Failed Validation Errors?

Hello
I need some help with getting my Trainz Simulator 2010: Engineers edition working properly.
I have just installed a digital copy and I also registered my copy and I set up a profile.
But I keep getting error messages.

If I click on the website link on the Trainz launcher, I get the error message, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I also clicked the 'Diagnose connection problem and I get the message,
"The remote device or resource won't accept the connection".

I tried to download content via the content manager, but when I click on the download station, it displays "There are no items to display".

I carried out a quick database repair and I got the following error messages:
Error: Asset <kuid:-2:1001> does not match the asset database record
Error: Asset <kuid:-2:1002> does not match the asset database record
Message: Asset <kuid:-2:1001> failed validation
Error: Internal error. Unable to validate asset c:\program files\auran\ts2010/UserData/local\hash-eb\kuid _2 1001 at the current time
Message: Asset <kuid:-2:1002> failed validation.
Error: Internal error. Unable to validate asset c:\program files\auran\ts2010/UserData/local\hash-e8\kuid _2 1002 at the current time.

I hope someone can help me with solving this problem.

try to renistall the game
when i buy trs 2010 i was even unable to install the game as whenever i download game and try to install it always says corrupt files and even not yet successful to install

When IE 9 came out my links went dead, I went back to IE 8. Also try firefox, that works ok .

Welcome to the forums...

There's no need to reinstall the program.

Try a quick an extended database repair and see if that helps.

As a side, but important thing to note, many database errors such as these are caused by turning off the computer too soon after closing Trainz or Content Manager. This is because the database and files can take time closing down after the main program is closed. To ensure that the data is not corrupted, you should wait at least 5 or 10 minutes after exiting Trainz before turning your computer off.

Thanks for the advice.
I run a extended database repair and rebooted the computer and that help fix some of the problems.
I also checked my firewall program and it was blocking the Trainz programs accessing
the download station.I carried out another database repair and reboot and this fixed all the errors.
New Problem
I can now download content from the Download station. But when create a new session and place a downloaded
item on to the baseboard, the item appears as a black object with no texture.
For example I downloaded a "avro vulcan bomber B2 static" and I just see a black shell.
Plus I also downloaded some other items and they also appear as black objects.

The pre-installed content works fine, and the content manager is reporting no faults with the items.

Hello

I visited your website and I checked out the "Black/Multicolour Textures issue" tutorial.
I followed the instructions and it corrected the problems.

Thanks for your assistance.

It's OK - I'm the one who usually keeps tutorials for the technical side of Trainz. You may find it useful to bookmark that site in case you need it in the future - same with my blog.
