G'day!

So I found the line that you add to a config file to stop disappearing objects such as baseboards. But exactly where in the config do you add this line? I am treying to fix the 'Victoria Forest' spline so it will stop making everything disappear.

Here is the config for Victoria_Forest_60m-wide-half-Hi_spline:

kind "track"
length 45
width 60
istrack 0
bendy 1
isroad 0
light 0
repeats 1
region "TRS World Trees"
type "SV"
asset-filename "Victoria_Forest_60m-wide-half-Hi_spline"
description "Victoria Forest 60 meter wide - half height - spline (392 polys)"
created "for Peter Pardoe-Matthews - Narrowgauge"
trainz-build 2
category-class "SV"
category-region-0 "AU"
category-era-0 2000
username "Victoria_Forest_60m-wide-half-Hi_spline"
author "David Drake"
organisation "Tall Trees and Boardwalk Railroad"
contact-email "dave@surfsedge.com"
contact-website "http://www.surfsedge.com/TTBWRR.htm"
license "Do what you will... just mention my name as original artist.
Enjoy, Dave"

}

Where do I add "uncahed_Alphas 1" in this config?

Cheers! :)

Jake.

On a line of its own, anywhere except between the curly brackets {} should work.

The order of tags in the config does not seem to matter to Trainz.

Jake,

I thought, but i could be wrong, that it didn't really matter where in the config that it went, as long as what you need is there.
For your purposes though, if you are trying to keep the config neat, i would think that in between the 'repeats 1' and 'region TRS World Trees' lines, because the lines above that contain all the other info pertaining to the item being a spline.

Matt.

As said put it anywhere other than in between the brackets, I usually put it under the bendy 1 entry, just to keep it tidy.
