Every time we click on CONTENT on the main menu, nothing happens...

My five-year-old son and I are so disappointed in TRAINZ. Every time we click on CONTENT on the main menu, nothing happens. I've submitted five tickets to TRAINZ in the pas weeks with o response. The only thing I can think of now is to reinstall the game but it says that this will erase my son;s saved games. This really sucks. Can anyone help us?

When was the last time you did a database repair?
How long have you waited after clicking "content"?

a) One major factor might be we are on Windows 8.1

b) 1. We have Trainz 12. 2. I've never done a database repair. 3. On rare occasion, after we click CONTENT on the eight-choice main menu start-up screen, silver, with a locomotive on it, STEAM ads come up after about 10-15 seconds but this is rare. I've never waited more than 30 seconds.

c) I've also tried to download content from the Auran Download station - not downloading content marked as "invalid" - but I never know where to download it to - particularly since I've never seen the contents of whatever is supposed to happen when CONTENT MANAGER (clicking CONTENT?) comes up. Thanks for reading and any pointers would be appreciated!

STEAM ads come up after about 10-15 seconds

This may be why. I'm not entirely sure nor am I an expert but my gut tells me the only reason this is happening is because you purchased the game from steam and not from N3V directly. Again, probably wrong, but just my 2 cents. Hope you get your problem fixed. :wave:




... N3V never should've put Trainz on steam...

1. Go to trainz launch window
2. Click content
3. See tap bar click custom
4. See other tab bar then click kuid change to name.
5. Download what you need!
This system works better for mac
