And even more......

But wait there's more - Preorder a pack and in addition you will receive the Tree Pack absolutely FREE

(Not quite the Treez game that was suggested on the forums but we are sure you will all be pleased none the less.) :D :D :D

Hmmmmmm.... Treez game?:D :D

Have fun,

The Settle and Carlisle pack looks suspiciously like TC3. Will there be a heavy discount for previous purchasers please?

This looks like Trainz Classics served up in a different format.

Would I be able to run Settle and Carlisle on TRS06 because I have been looking forward to that and have been on the website reguarly for updates for over a year.

At a guess out of the box I'd say no as the steam locos use an updated physics and sound system. Whether you could hack it to make it work, who knows.

All add-on routes can be used in stand alone mode which is the driver only version of TS2009. Or you can use an existing TS2009 serial number to activate CM2 and surveyor in the stand alone mode. Or it can be added to an existing version of TS2009 as a route and sessions.

Last two pictures of Murchison go to the same picture.
Carbon City reminds me of Newark, NJ light rail in general look and feel. The telephone splines look to have a 3D wire effect meaning no weird glassy edging or blocking the view of other assets in Native mode.

50 Year First-Class-Tiket in the shop "limited".
Never look again how long I have access with full speed ahead:cool:

I think that Auran need to explain exactly what is going on here.
Firstly, are these routes fully Ts2009 native mode compatible, for instance I have TC3 Settle-Carlisle in 2009 but the trees and locos only work in compatibility mode. It would be worth buying Settle-Carlisle again to have those excellent locos brought up to 2009 standards.
Secondly, what is the situation with Engineers Edition, I was promised a reduced price when I pre-ordered Ts2009. John.

Have fun,

Not interested in two of the "expansions" and the third ( Settle ) I already bought as TC3. Where can I buy the Tree pack without having to buy something I don't want/need?

Come on Auran divvy up the info!:(

1 Are they native or compatibility mode?
2 What extra dose the Settle-Carlisle route have from the TC3 Settle-Carlisle version?
3 How much bigger is the Carbon City route compared to the old one?
4 Murchison isn't that a very old one? If so how much of it is brand new?
5 Are any of these worth getting just for the extra content alone? ---------Star Question---------
6 Are we getting ripped off again?

one of new game packs and the Treez all look to come from

Sirgibby's TrainZONE
(http://www.trainzone.co.nz/)

The Nature Paks offered 1 & 2 as prt of Treez combined cost $39.95 from his web site and are needed to run the Murchison Stage 2

He is work is really good in my opion, and the Nature Pak contents are well worth it. ( Nope no gettign paid to support him)

I ordered the Nature Paks for my own use.

This probably explains why nobody bothered to fix the DLS after it stopped processing uploads over 11 days ago and has just been fixed now. Too busy with this stuff I guess to bother?

A new maglev?

Are the Cabon_City trams using some kind of maglev? In the second and third pictures in the Newsletter, there is definitely air under the tramcar bodies with no visible means of support.

I wonder whether the Cabon city trams still take a 90 degree curve in a street with 80 km/pu

There are a number of great routes "out there" It's all pretty subjective as to which route you personally like the best. Personally Murchison 2 is my favourite and I have had 100's of enjoyable hours both running trains on it and modify it for my own personal use. (joining up and extending all the NG on the layout).

While there are several great route out there (both freeware & payware) I haven't as yet found a better one that I have enjoyed more than Murchison 2. I'm sure that anyone that decided to purchase Murchison 2 will not be disappointed.

I know there is a version of Murchison 2 that has been modified to run in TRS2009 (& also one for TC3). I don't know whether it runs in "compatible mode", (or "native mode") or both...

To get a lifetime FCT with these three great layout for that price seems to me pretty good value. (especially if you don't already have Trainz Classic 2 & 3).

Heavens, for the enjoyment I have got from Murchison 2 (& the Nature Series Packs 1 & 2), I'd be happy to pay the asking price for that alone, without the other two layouts... The other two layouts (& a lifetime FCT) thrown in make the total package a real bargain at that price... (My thoughts anyway)...
And know, like dadolson, I'm not getting paid to support Murchison 2 (or Auran)...
Happy Trainzing.
Cheers, Mac... :udrool:

Another request from Auran to send them your money , another piece of we will fix TS2009 soon (tm) , one more bit of smoke , and yet another promise !

I ain't buying , My Thoughts --- ,DLR

If anyone gets one of these new packs, please let me know if the trees work properly in TS2009 native mode. I'd really consider the packs if they do, otherwise probably not.

Hi,

Lets be realistic about this. Anyone with more than one brain cell knows we are not buying a 50 year FCT.

However I feel that this is a cry from Auran to give them a cash boost in order to survive the current financial crisis (lets face it , multi-national companies are falling by the wayside, so a small company like Auran must be really struggling).

I reckon the cost is equivalent to about 4 years FCT's and since I have enjoyed this Trainz experience for the past 5 years, I am willing to risk my money on a further 4 -5 years.

Come on - lets support this great game.

I have posted this in the two current threads relating to the FCT and new routes available.

Cheers, John
