Thanks guys :)

Another EVWR2 shot. Although it is on the 'old' part of the route the shot is 'impossible' in EVWR1 since the train is pretty much over position of the old Evansville Portals....

Looking great andy i have downloaded everything you have so far!! Cant wait for the route to come out!

Yes - I've been meaning to tackle you on the amount of space the 68213s take up in the kuid table - totally outrageous!

Andy,

This route looks graphically stunning! How are the fps, and how smooth does this route run? I know too much of Pofig's scenery in one spot can really bog down even the best of the best computers.

Either way, looking really good!

Sooooo looking forward to this route.Looks like your typical Dermmy route. They are all excellent, and truly one of the many things that make Trainz so enjoyable for me.So I gotta know.........how soon? I need to plan on spending some quality time with my PC.I check the forum almost every day on the oft chance that "today"is release day! Regards,Randy

PS. Clovis is my all time favorite route.Does it run in Trainz 2010,or are there any plans to upgrade it?

WHOA, just noticed, and WOW! It looks fantastic (And the pack :udrool: ) .
Can't wait 'till our other computer comes out of storage, be sure my Laptop won't be able to handle this (It did do pretty good in Avery-Drexel in TS10, but it doesn't do that well anymore.)

Pofig's trees shouldn't 'bog down' any computer, but this route runs smooth as silk on a 32 bit XP machine. 'FPS' is not something I worry too much about, in fact I deliberately tie mine down to 22fps in trainzoptions text. I also force it to be smooth though with a high framestoaverage setting. IMHO 'smooth' kills 'fast' every time. It runs 22fps without even a stutter on camera changes using all payware quality locos and hi-poly rolling stock and draw distance set to 2500m. The limiter never looks like kicking in even on my rig, on better machines expect even better than I'm getting.....

Yep, Clovis is my favourite route too (except maybe this one!). I did start a Clovis 3 / TS10 re-vamp (see my web site) but couldn't find enough good-quality freeware desert shrubbery to get the effect I was after, what I was doing looked nice, but it was just too 'green'. I will get back onto Clovis like a shot when there's enough shrubbery to do the route justice...

Nice work Andy. It looks like the route is available for download. Can't wait to take it for a spin.

NO!!! Don't go getting all excited. All the content (except the JR locos) is available, and if folks can start grabbing that it will ease my bandwidth which always gets clobbered with a new route, but the route itself is still a few weeks away while I try to nut out some TS12 issues....

Andy, Just for kicks, can you post your Trainzoptions settings?

I'm thinking you should do a UK route someday Andy, miles and miles of what you've done there! Nice shot, and very nice waterfront!

Andy is there any way you can just clone yourself a couple dozen times and put your clones at work making all the US rail network??? :hehe:

Everything looks AWESOME! Can't wait to try this puppy out!

Too bad he couldn't, since I would love to the lapsed projects of I&O and P&L done.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

-framestoaverage is a tag that (as I understand it) tries to enforce a constant framerate. Valid values are 1 through 16. The value is NOT a target framerate, it nominates the 'enthusiasm' with which an average is maintained. A value of 1 will very loosely enforce an average, 16 will rigidly enforce an average.

I specify -fremerate 22 which is well within the ability of my system. Run 'free' fps jumps around between high teens and about 60, but it is 'jerky'. By specifying the lowest framerate I find visually acceptable (22) coupled with a rigidly enforced attempt to maintain an average, I can run the route at an absolutely glassy smooth unwavering 22 fps. IMHO that looks 10,000 times better than a 'jerky' high fps...
