engine sound cut out

I have a Gigabyte s-searies mother board with built in sound. I also have an
amd phenom 9500 quad core cpu and 4 gigs of memory. Everything runs great but I get engine sound cutting out. Is this a trainz or the engine or my
built in sound card causing the problem? Will a high quality sound card soulve the problem or is there a way of fixing it in trainz? Thanks.

I have a creative xtremegamer and I noticed that in the demo so that is why I haven't bought the game. Haven't heard that it was fixed yet so I won't be buying till it is.

What version of Trainz are you running. TS2009 have pretty much fixed the sound issues that were present in version 2006

The problem I had with the sound in the demo was at the end of the loop i got a popping sound before it would start over again on any loco built in or custom.
