ECML route update

Want a Deltic sounding like Western well you can but, would you want to destroy the most perfect sounding locomotive in existence?

Yup very true the Western is the most perfect sounding diesel loco on the planet. ;)

Read the info from the 4 links and it was very interesting.

In regards the "Deltic" models both on the DLS and included as default in TS12.

The model itself is really good, but the cabview is shamefull.

It's about time someone (N3V) looked in the mirror and decided to update this abomination.

There is no realistic immersion what so ever when driving from the cab.

Slightly off topic, the same goes for the EE Type 3 cabview.

Great to read that the ECML is an on going project.

It was always the only worth while route for me, included in TS12.

I hope you guys don't mind but this was the only place i could think of to place some feedback.

The platform at Newcastle (8), is way to close to the trackbed.

I do agree with this. I'm the great fun of this route too.
But I'm a little disappointed because i thought, that title 'ECML route update' announce the hotfix (update of mistakes) for KC-Newcastle. In fact it seems that this is only preparing for new edition in TS13, TS14.

If you clone ECML to for example add invisible stations you will find that there are Huge areas around Darlington where the Dem map shows. There are no missing textures according to CM but I suspect there are, any ideas anyone ?

Hi Isambard thanks for spotting the error. I’m working on this area at the moment so will update the master copy. You and anyone else are more than welcome to let me know of any errors. The more perfect it is the better.

The web pages have been updated because I’ve been meaning to do it for years !! Got nothing to do with any future instalments. I’m a busy bee so doing this sort of thing takes a back seat.

There are also other areas of non green baseboards we had no control so suggest just painting over those seen from the train.

Cheers

No problem Stuart, only recently returned to running TZ. After wasting my time with RW for 8 months. ;)

I am looking forward to seeing the next version of ECML.
