Dugouts/dighole not aligning

Recently, any dig out/dig-hole I use does not line up with any of the base board lines. Typically, the selected dig hole fits within the grid lines. Now it is shifted overlapping the lines. Any suggestions on how to correct this issue and why it might be happening? I use these when I design a model railroad (multiple scales) to expose the area where the floor goes and define the edge of the layout.

If you repainted your grid, it may not be scaled properly. Make sure the direction indicator is pointing up and the scale knob is as small as possible.
