If there is a lot of files, I would advise using the archive function in Content Manager, as it will also pick up the dependencies.
To do so:
1.Use the search box to find the assets you wish to copy to the new system.
2.Open the Archiver panel on the left-hand side (click the down arrow next to it to do so)
3. Drag the assets across from the search results list to the Archiver pane - click Accept when prompted (if there are any assets you do not want to include dependencies for, untick them)
4. When done, click Archive then select where you want to put the file and what to call it in the save box that appears (it will save as a .cmpa file) - this is the file to copy across.
On your new system:
1.Open Content Manager.
2. Go into Settings, then click Add.
3. Select the .cmpa file you copied from the old system, then click Open.
4. Click Close/OK i(could be either) in the settings box.
5. Content Manager should then detect the archive and offer to install the assets - click Yes.
6. If a Yes/No box does not appear, open the archiver panel on the new system, then click the down arrow where the word 'New Archive' appears, then select the name of your archive - it should then prompt. (If it does not, select all the assets in the list in the Archiver panel, then right click (in the archiver panel) and click Install - the process will then start.
7. Once this is done, you can remove the archive reference using the settings box (the files that are imported will remain intact during this, and the archive itself will also remain intact).
