downloading content updates.

Hello fellow trainz people,

This is my situation: I have just re-installed Trainz 12 following a hard drive format, when I log back in to Trainz I see I have 247 updates to install ?? help!! I start the download process by selecting download and install all updates but this process does not show how the downloads are going. I am on a 100mb connection which is very quick but these downloads seem to be taking ages, with no indication of downloading process. Am I doing something wrong or is it just the slow speed of the updates themselves? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

First thing is not all the updates apply to you (what you have installed).
Use the cm search function and select out of date=true, under that location=local.
Only update what you use, pointless otherwise.
