Hi Dave, Mike --
Seems like you two might need a little help with double stacking?
Dave --
Have you tried the ContainerVirtuoso session? Have you followed the link I gave above? Have you read my little tutorial about LARS and ProtoLARS (mouse click on the link below)?

If you look at the screen shotz in post #2 here:
http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=15737&highlight=virtuoso
you will see that some combinations are not possible. While it is possible, for example, to put a 40ft container on top of two 20 footers, because there is no hard point with twist locks at the center of a 40ft container it is not possible to stack 2 x 20ft containers on top of a 40 footer.
In Surveyor, look at how the ProtoLARS industry is set up to produce containers in ContainerVirtuoso.
Now move over to those empty well cars, click on the Rolling Stock flyout, and place one or two of those TTX well cars adjacent to the ones that are already there.
Now click on the "?" and click on the well cars you have just added and then the ones that I placed on the track.
See the difference in the way that mine are configured?
What I did was determine which containers were
not required on a particular car, clicked on those unwanted containers in the load configuration screen, then clicked on the "X" to remove them. That way they are forced to load the ones that I want loaded.
It can take a bit of trial and error.
Tell me if this helps.
