Auran should try and catch up or the big business is going to drive the little guy out of the market...

Try again with your link, it does not work as it is.

Double slips are quite possible in Trainz, why did you think they weren't?

Peter

Ah, Railworks double slips. I think you should read the comments under the vid you posted and maybe investigate some of the Railworks forums to see just how much of an advance (or otherwise ;) ) these are from what we have in Trainz.

And as for the "Auran need to do this or they'll go out of business", been reading that for a good 8 years now and they're still working on Trainz.

Mike.

Not entirely sure what the point of this thread is but I'm a tricky trackwork nut. Slips are no problem in Trainz...

Two doubles and two singles in this one...

...and a single, a double and a 3-way turnout just for good measure in this one...

I acknowledge that the way the slips are done is impossible, the toe of the converging rails lie in the common crossings, but they work as they should and stand up to all but the closest inspection...

Andy

PS - sorry about the shocking pun :)

And have you tried Andi06's animated points which have been around for some years?

Also, a word of advice. Do not post the same post in more than one sub-forum; it makes you very unpopular with some people.

I had no trouble building a whole yard of double slips, but they look pretty clunky. What assets did you use to dress up your trackwork? Frogs, guid rails etc?
