don't have enough place

first sorry on my bad english because im from croatia.
i buy trainz virtual railway and teher is one problem.
i open game,select surveyor,then create new.
when i do that i have only one square to build my railway.
that isn't enough place to build nice i big railway.
how do i get more space to build?

I have TRS2006, but am sure it is the same as far as extending baseboards ?

In surveyor "select" "topography" ( top slider)
at the bottom of topography "select" "advanced"
at the top select "extend"
move your mouse to the edge and click .
