About a year and a half or so ago my debit card who is managed by our male cousin, my late mom's sister's son, got hacked and people bought stuff on the card and my cousin was peed. We had to get the charges reversed. We had the card numbers on our computer and a few sites and removed them. My computer got infected with something and keystroke software I think. I did visit that site in the past. Now it seems to redirect to sketchy sites when you try to search. It's a bad site. But the people who hacked our card were in the US because they bought from US sites. My cousin has a scamwatch on the card and a lot of online sites blocked except a few that he approved like Uber Eats, Trainz sites like N3V and other sites, etc. He blocked certain types of purchases like alcohol, smoking, casinos, but allowed most stores.
