Creating terrain elevations etc.

Hi Guys,

I know its been awhile since i replied to this thread, I've been busy with school. I truly do appreciate all the tips tricks and help. For now I am going to keep it basic and attempt minor terrain variations by hand, as well i will employ some of the methods described above. My route(s) will probably end up a bit flatter than it should be, (think like laying out a model railroad on a piece of plywood) I am going to hold of on TransDEM for the foreseeable future until i get the basics down pat.

TransDem worked fine for me. I'm doing a route in Nova Scotia, Canada. If I never use TransDem again, I still feel it was money very well spent.
