CONTZ Pack - Standard Edition

What you are ignoring is the reason why the KUID2 system was created. If changed assets are given a totally new number then every single route or asset using that asset will fail to load. The KUID system ensures that this does not happen. You complain that you can't use build 3.6 content in TRS2010, and there is an easy fix, update to TS12 and your problem is solved. You are crying out to have the system to be changed so that you can cling to an out-dated version. I have no sympathy with that viewpoint.

What you can do is to clone the original sessions and give them a different user name and KUID, they would not be over written and would work in TRS2010. I would have no objections to you doing that for your own use. I don't think there is any other content used by Northbay session that is a build higher than 2.9.

Being an old softy, if I get emails from more than 20 people I will make build 2.9 versions of the three 2.7 vintage sessions and upload them. I wil also ask Rich Blake if I can do his.

I knew it would happen, all this angst about Northbay sessions not working in TRS2010 and despite my offer to update them if I recieved 20 emails, what do I get. Nothing! Not even one from Blackwatch who brought up the off topic subject. Shows how important it really is.

Anyway, to preserve my image of being a kind old duffer, awaiting approval on the DLS are one Northbay route, and three sessions. all for build 2.9 with new KUIDs. Not yet approved. Search for Northbay and look for TS10 in the username. In return I want someone to test them in TRS2010 and report any problems. The sessions by Slugsmasher are still to come.

The silent majority think you are a champion Peter. So thanks for that - only 19 more to go!

I still have TS10 installed so I'll write myself a post it note to download it Sunday or Monday and check it out. But I'm not as critical as some so anyone else can volunteer as well.

I didn't reply Peter, because I took your advice (mostly) I used the 'built in' versions, used the same 'usernames' & kuids, but
updated the kuid version numbers to :127, that way, whatever anyone does with them in future, it won't bother me, because
nothing can supercede a :127 so won't show up as an 'update'.
What you can do is to clone the original sessions and give them a different user name and KUID, they would not be over written and would work in TRS2010
I did have to fix one or two small issues, but now I have no 'warnings' no 'faults' & no 'updates' to worry about.
