content wont commit

hi i have just recently purchased a new pc .. and loaded trainz 2006 in to it ... the game works fine but my problem is coming when im trying to A . transfer content from my old pc via cdp .. and B . when im trying to download content ... on both counts when i open cdp up or click on the saved item .. im getting an error come up thats saying .. unable to register the url registry key ... after clicking ok on the error the cdp comes up and even starts downloads and says its installed .. but when i shut it off none of the content is in the game .. nor showing in the internet or local files ...

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling .. and even reformatted so this was the first thing that was loaded in to the new pc

intel quad 2.4 ghz
windows vista
3 gb ram
geforce 512mb 8500gt

Mark,

This may be due to Vista and read/write permissions....
(I had it with trs 2006 & XP - but it's easier to fix on XP)

Search for the thread with instructions for Vista and TRS 2006 install.
