content manager

When I try to use the content manager a block opens saying "updating
content, please wait." But it remains frozen along with my computer indefinately and I can't access my own content or my computer. Why is this happening? Thanks. Bob Graves aka rrbobby.
 
Use CTRL+ALT+DEL to open up task manager and shut down CMP. Then try to reopen it. If the problem continues, then reply.
 
I've been having the exact same problem. I pressed escape to get the "updating trainz asset database" off, but the program still freezes and I can't upload any new content into the program.

Post your full PC specs here

and

1. What version of Trainz have you got?
2. Have you got MS Net Installed?
3. Have you ran TrainzDiag to see if it passes all Tests?
3. Do you run Trainz in OpenGL or DirectX?
4. Whats settings are you using to run Trainz?
5. Have you installed the latest Graphics card drivers?
6. Any other software running in the background when you run Trainz.
