Content manager problems - nothing downloading, suggetions please.

Although I am new to these forums, I actually bought the game about 2 years ago. Therefore, I have SOME experience.
Anyways onto the subject:

A few weeks ago I was able to download via the DLS. But when I bought an FCT, I found out that the Content Manager wouldn't download. Instead of downloading, the status bar at the top of the DL helper just stays at 'Idle', even though I've clicked the start button. I've tried everything (run as admin, update drivers etc.) but it still doesn't work.
This is a real bummer as I've been looking forward to finally download some of those great-looking locos and routes. If someone has any tips on the subject, it'd help GREATLY.

Do any messages appear at the bottom of the screen?

No they don't, in fact nothing appears. I click the start button, sometimes a tree expands with a list of the dependencies, but nothing comes up...

EDIT: Great. Now nothing comes up. The DL helper now remains empty (no dependency tree, etc.) even though I've clicked the link.
DLing from the white pages btw.

Sounds like it may be sorting out dependencies. I would check what build you are using though (this is the 5-digit number on the Launcher).

Well guess what - it was MY fault!

I installed a Trainz patch a day ago. The thing was, I was in a hurry to DL assets and I forgot to launch Trainz after the patch installed so it could sort installed assets etc. Well I then started it, closed it, went to DL a loco and BAM! It worked.

Just for future reference, my build is 43434.

And thanks for the help! My first impressions of this forum and the community are good.

You might want to update to the latest build 49938 by updating to the latest Service Patch see here http://www.auran.com/servicepacks/
