I know it's quite a shame, but after more than half a year after buying 06, I'm finally beginning to embrace the power or DLS. What I want to do now is start on a clean slate. I downloaded quite a bit of custom from third party websites in the past and now I want to get rid of all those content and start fresh with the default content. What filter should I use to sort out assets by custon/default or is there any way to seperate the default content from the downloaded ones? I've tried using the DLS filter, but since the extra content was mostly installed using CDP packs, the results are quite messy too. Any help is appreciated.

In CMP use the option to select the local folder ( search --> Location --> Local ) That will brig up all the items installed in the simulator. Select one of the items and then select Ctrl+A next hit Delete and all the installed items ( but not the build-in ones ) will be deleted.

Use Builtin to see all the default assets and Not Builtin + Location Local to see all the downloaded assets.

Not quite sure I'm getting the both of you here, very sorry. Perhaps more elaboration on what to click, in chronological order would be helpful. Screenshots not neccesary, I just want to know how to delete custom content. I can't delete them one by one because I've forgotten some of the names of trains etc. and I don't know their dependencies.

Open CMP. Along the left margin are the Action Panels:

Search
Asset Details
Uploads
Archiver
Pick List

Click the little double up pointing arrow in the circle at the right in the Search Action Panel to expand it. Click the pulldown arrow in the box and select Builtin. The CMP Main View Panel will display all 7732 of the default assets that came with TRS2006. Back at the Search Action Panel, just left of the Box with the word Builtin is an equal sign with a diagonal line thru it, this is the symbol for NOT. If you click it the Main View Panel will no show NOT builtin or custom assets, some of which you have on your computer and some are on the DLS, as noted by the black and red DS symbol. To get rid of the DLS items, go back to the Search Action Panel and click on the plus sign in the square box. This will add a second line in the Search Action Panel with the word Name in the box and a blank box to its right. Click the pull down arrow and select Location. This should put the word Local in the box right of Location. If you don't see Local, click that boxes pulldown arrow and select it. The Main View Panel will now display all of your custom content that you've downloaded. Right click the items you want to delete.
