CMP Crash Windows 7

osq7

Confused
I have just installed Trainz 2006 and TC3 on my Windows 7 PC. When I boot up CMP for either version, a message popup comes up and says "CMP has stopped working". I have tried running it in compatability mode for XP and nothing changed.

*LATEST*

Installed OpenGL Drivers and everything's fine.

You running in Admin mode?

Right click the icon and then select "Run as Administrator"

Hi, did you ever manage to resolve this problem? Im running Windows 7, and everything was fine, it ran no problems. I had lots of custom content all working fine, however as soon as I registered trainz and started using the DLS, both CMP and Trainz crash and wont run.

edit - just reread your top post... cheers :)

same thing happened to me , I have win7 and trainz06 , everything ran fine until I went to DLS then I couldnt get anything to work, I reinstalled and Im using openGL . Driver and surveyor are ok but Im afraid to mess with the dls or contentmanager, any tips?

I don't know what to say since I had no problems with either the install or running TS2010 in Windows 7 64-bit other than with an asset.

This sounds more like a database issue than a graphics problem, although that was the issue with one install.

There have been cases in the past where bad content can cause the program to break. I've had that with a German locomotive that I can not download dependencies for. CM crashed while downloading this one asset and I can not delete it because whenever I touch it, CM crashes. The program thinks it's installed locally, but it doesn't exist anywhere on the system.
