City Bus Simulator 2010

The English version of City Bus Simulator 2010 is finally released after being delayed for about two months after the German version was released. I played the first four chapters in Campaign Mode. In Chapter One, Carlos was asked to check out a "broken-down" Nova RTS bus. He took the service truck to the bus but he couldn't find the driver and he couldn't contact his supervisor. He went back to the bus garage and his supervisor told him to go back to the bus. He went back and found out that the bus and its driver were missing. In Chapter Three, a woman asked Carlos to drop her off at a car garage between 9th and 10th Avenue. In Chapter Four, the woman asked Carlos to drop her off at the library instead of at the bus stop across 5th Avenue. He picked up a NYCTA employee posing as a passenger. When He went back to the bus garage, his supervisor told him not to drop anyone off anywhere except at bus stops.

Hi Jeff,

This sounds like an interesting program.

Did you ever get their subway simulator running? I finally got my running a full week after I downloaded the product. I was the point of telling them I wanted a refund. Personally I find the company to be outright rude in the way they handle customer service. People that complain about Auran ought to visit AeroSoft for a week. They'll really appreciate Auran Helpdesk after that.

I have "World of Subways: PATH" program. It had some bugs such as red signal at a crossover to a station. They fixed the program with patches but until a few weeks ago, they refused to support Windows 7. They closed their forum due to spam attack last week.

Thanks for the updated news, Jeff. I discovered the bug too. There is also a forum for the program developer as well as for Aerosoft. I wonder if they have any news on the fixes for this.

The forum mod, I think his last name is Fletcher, was able to help me get the license update to run the hardwired version of the simulator under Windows 7. This is a new binary file that replaces the one that gets installed with the original installation.

Regarding the spam. I can see why they were spammed. I found the lot to be totally rude in the way they treat the end-users.

I have both the PATH and the U-Bahn. The graphics are nice in the U-Bahn route, but I have yet to figure out how to drive the subway. The controls are weird. I spent over 2 hours reconfiguring them, and I still couldn't remember how to drive them. There are too many buttons for so many things.
